Slacking

I've been a bit of a slacker recently on this blog. I guess my girlfriend being in London for a few weeks has something to do with it :). So here's what I've been up to since my last post:

1. As I mentioned my girlfriend is in town so we spent a lot of time together. That's really nice to have her around.

2. Working, working, working, ...

3. Last night Connie and I hosted a party at my place. It was funny because we ended up being almost entirely old flatmates (either Connie's or mine). We were expecting a bit more people but of course there are always the last minute cancellations. It was good: chatted a lot, drunk too much, neighbour complained about the noise and went to bed late. In other words a good party.

4. Last weekend I went to Budapest for a friend's stag do. One of us was a native from Budapest so we had a place to stay and a guide to show us around. The trip didn't start well as the flight was delayed by 5 hours. But it wasn't so bad because we just had a few beers and started playing hacky sack in the terminal. We finally made it and got a bit of sleep. The next day we went water skiing. That was a lot of fun even if very tiring. The evening we went to the restaurant and then partying in some open-air club. It was such great fun. We made the future groom ware a bright yellow "life guard" tee-shirt and carry an inflatable shark which turned out to be a huge success on the dance floor. We went back home in the very early hours of the morning to get a bit of sleep. Sunday we went around the city (very nice by the way) and finished with a couple of hours in the spa. Once again it was just great. The flight back to London was more of the same than the flight in. I finally touched base around 5.30 on Monday morning. That was a bit tough to work but well worth it.
