Last stop: Hong Kong

We just arrived in Hong Kong, 13 hours after leaving Shanghai. It could have been worse, had we taken the train all the way for an uninspiring 24-hour ride. Although more expensive, we decided to fly to Guangzhou first (only 1h30) and then take the train to Hong Kong (2 hours). Anyhow, we made it there, only to be welcomed with a storm just breaking out over our sorry heads while walking to Connie's grandparents'. Not the best start but it still seems like a very exiting city.
In 5 days, I'll be flying back home with mixed feelings. On the one hand it's been a great experience and we both had a great time in Japan and China. Plus, Connie will be staying here so I won't see her for about 2 month. Thus making me feel a bit sad to get back to my London life. On the other hand, it's been a bit challenging to be China. Things can be very chaoting around there. Besides, it is a bit tiring to be different and your every moves watched by the local people. Also, London seems so peaceful compare to Beijing or Shanghai. Even Oxford Circus is nothing compare to what we've seen. So in that sense, I'm quite cheerful about getting back to my daily routines. But first, I'll enjoy the end of our trip a bit more in HK.
